Our courses at Murray Edwards are designed for motivated students aged 13鈥15 who want to challenge themselves, explore new ideas, and gain confidence in a supportive academic setting. Each course welcomes around 40 students, forming a vibrant, international learning community where everyone is encouraged to share ideas and take part.
Classes are capped at eight students and often smaller, allowing tutors to tailor lessons to each group鈥檚 interests and pace. Through interactive seminars, group discussion, and hands-on activities, students learn to think critically, work collaboratively, and express their views with confidence. Independent research and in-class presentation tasks help build academic maturity in preparation for future study.
Accommodation and Facilities
Students stay in comfortable single bedrooms on the main college site. Each room is bright, functional, and located close to teaching spaces and common areas. Bathrooms are shared between 2鈥3 students depending on the accommodation block, and all bed linen and towels are provided. Kitchens are not accessible due to college policy, but meals and refreshments are managed on-site.
Beyond the classroom, students enjoy access to the college鈥檚 relaxing green spaces, including lawns for walks or informal activities. The Art Caf茅 in the main building offers light snacks and drinks, and the sports ground may be available for use during free time.
